What is the Process / How Do You Proceed?

Like everything we do, our approach is based on making our clients feel comfortable. In our initial consultation call, we will have an open discussion in which we listen, review our experience and credentials, discuss options, and develop an approach catered to your individual needs. As always, we encourage you to call us prior to discuss if coming in for a consultation feels right for you.

Our approach to BHRT involves

  1. Scheduling an Initial Consultation.
  2. After the consultation, we will assess the current hormone levels through blood, saliva, or urine testing and prescribe specific hormones (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, etc.) based on test results.
  3. Administering the hormones can be via creams, pills, patches, pellets, or injections.
  4. We will monitor and adjust doses based on existing symptoms and follow-up testing.

How does BHRT work?

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) uses hormones chemically identical to those produced by the human body. These hormones are typically derived from plant sources and custom-compounded.

Some key benefits can include managing menopause symptoms, improving bone density, and potentially addressing other hormone-related issues. Regular monitoring is essential as hormone needs change over time.

Note: While BHRT is widely used, research on long-term safety and effectiveness compared to traditional HRT is still limited. Medical supervision is required.

You Are Not Alone Is Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy For You?

All women experience menopause, but about 75% experience symptoms related to hormonal imbalances, like hot flashes, mood swings, and sleep disorders/disturbances. Many women can experience menopausal symptoms years before Menopause. This time is called Perimenopause and can present itself as early as your 30's.

During this time, many women will experience hormonal imbalances, inclusive of a drop in Progesterone and Testosterone levels, which results in Estrogen imbalance symptoms.

Hormonal imbalances are the root of many chronic health problems and can increase your risk of serious disease.  The good news is that hormone losses and imbalances are correctible. Hormones coordinate everything from digestion and growth to your appetite, immune function, mood, weight, and libido. So, when your hormones are out of balance, even slightly, it can have a big impact on your health and well-being.  Through the use of bioidentical hormones, women can not only be relieved of the symptoms, but also effectively protect themselves against osteoporosis and heart disease. And through supervised treatment, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy can make women feel healthier, and younger than they have in years.
